  1. Play on

May 1, 2009 by Jodiann aka Bean

Hey, Y’all! Feeling much better today after my PJ Party. Of course I got nothing significant done, since I never got dressed. Plenty of healing though, thanks everyone for all your well wishes…love that!

Everyone needs a day to simmer. It works!

We are headed back to work on that yard/carport clearing job today, hopefully to finish if the mommy (me) doesn’t wimp out. It would be great to get it all done today.

I did spend some time creating yesterday as planned but most is half finished so I only have two to show.  It was a blast to get so much time to play! Yup, yup!

My layout from Kim B’s Moody Days Kit its for sale starting tomorrow ( Saturday May 2)  This is an awesome kit! Check out Kim’s Blog to see what other folks have done with Moody Days. Its really neat! And the best part is there is ALL kinds of great sales going on, but Kim-mer will tell you about all that good stuff!

That is our cat Angelina. About 4 years ago a cat came out of the brush, just a tiny, sunburned thing. We gave her food and tried to cleaned her up. She weighed no more than 4 pounds full grown. She had so little fur we couldn’t tell if she had long hair or short. She stayed only a few minutes after eating. She came each day after that. She didn’t gain much weight, when we got a hold of her we understood she was nursing babies somewhere so it made sense. She returned for 4 months like this. Each day dodging the coyotes and the dog pack that runs this area killing everything the coyotes don’t. We never expected her to return each day like she did, but every evening around sunset there she was. Eventually she brought her one surviving kitten to us as well.  She never did get any bigger, still just a half-pint.

Another version, scaled back a bit to expose the background panel.

This is Miss Ruby Dane. Our harlequin great dane we just loved to pieces, we lost her a few years ago to complications from a spinal embolism. She was simply amazing and stuffed full of personality. Enough for 10 dogs! She kept us laughing and was always so happy just to be. I learned a lot about life just sitting with her and watching butterflies. This patch of grass under the trees was her favorite. She let me take pictures of her all day long if that was the place I chose, but everywhere else she would look away from the camera, cheeky girl!

    Love you Ruby-Doo!

Leaving you with previews of Kim B’s Moody Days Kit.
