Bird Inside
The saga of White the Guinea continues. He is being batted around my the bully Olive and when the going gets too rough he heads for our porch to get inside. It always seems to happen around the dinner hour. We hop up to find a kerfluffle on the porch and bring him inside.
Tuesday he sat at the table and ate a bit of roll and tater tot! LOL!
He is looking pretty rough…broken beak tip, back feathers all missing, long scratches down his tender back skin, the poor little guy.
Right now, he is sleeping in the boys room and gave me a little whistle when I turned on the hall light. When I went in he was settled at the foot of Dillon’s bed looking sleepy. So I turned of the artificial sun so he could go back to bed.
Usually he is in a few hours and then starts freaking to get back out there. Poking at windows and doors and if that doesn’t work flying around making a ruckus. So we let him out, this time, though with fresh blood and newly medicated wounds the boys were determined to keep him in so he could rest up.
They say cleaning up after him is not a big price to pay. They are doing the cleaning up, so I can’t be more pleased! * smile *
Be Well, White.
( snuck in to snap a picture.) He, of course ran to Dillon’s head for protection from me and the awful scary camera!!
White with Dillon
I have fiddled away my creative time this morning and today is Freebie Thursday too! I was working on the computers and doing town errands yesterday and so the emails piled up. Such fun answering emails. Please keep them coming! For now I need to switch gears and head off to feed dogs and do chores. I will be back with you all later today with another installment of WITH THE ALLIGATOR PURSE. I am going to put together an Alpha for you…just be a minute! LOL! *wink*
Hugs and Kisses!
