Blinkie-d!

newblinkCT I’ve been blinkied! Kim B thought I would make a good addition to her Creative Team and I am tickled!  I get rub elbows with some of the funniest, most creative ladies around!

Thanks for rolling out the welcome mat for me, crazy ladies!

So peel your eyes over to the right and get a gander at my permanent CT blinkie! WHoo Hoo! Click it to visit the blog of Miss B. The one above is just for show! LOL!

Sorry for bailing out on Photo Friday! I woke up to river of pee in the dinning room…thanks Dove! She just will not go outside regularly with all these storms and the dinning room is her spot to hide her “relief” when the storms are over! HOOT!

Anyway, I was soaking the mess ( to lift the pee smell from the tile grout) when checked my email and got invited to be a Kim B CT member! Whoo HOO! Talk about roller coaster highs and lows.

Pee to CT!

Well, thanks Dove again, because with the dinning room furniture all pushed back to deal with the mess it was a ripe place to do some impromptu happy dancing! ( with the mop, of course)

My dogs think I am nuts anyway so pushing back furniture and mop-dancing doesn’t even phase them now! LOL!

Then it was off to the Historic School building to mow, power-wash mats, windows, porch and sidewalks, vacuum, dust, etc. for a big shindig they are having there today. The boys came to help and did a bang up job with the sprayer.

Thanks you guys! A solid 5 hours of work out of Dillon, Nathan, Myself and Helen. Its a big place and needed a good spritz!

After a big group hug with our Helen ( who usually does all this stuff herself and has for 20+ years…Go Helen!) We headed back home to find computer pandamonium!

Group Hug to Computer BUG!

Again with the Highs and Lows!! It was tops to tails like this all day!

3 hours of computer fixes later…

We were up and running for about 15 minutes. <eyeroll>

Eventually we got the boys computers up and going, but mine was still thinking nothing of the internet. For me the internet is THE THING…so I had no computer in my mind.

Yesterday afternoon to drag us down another depth, the vet called and AJ is not responding to treatment. We mutually decided to give the treatment one more day, just on the hope he will come around.

Dear AJ, fight boy! You can do it!

Finally there was nothing left to do. We were not getting anywhere with the computers, we were sick about AJ.  Dillon suggested we throw in the towel and go see a movie…Great! End the topsy-turvy day on a high note! Lovely Idea!

We made the movie, just in time, WHOO HOO! Found great seats! Whoo HOO-WHOO HOO! Settled in movie started and was just getting good and it began to hail golf balls outside. It sounded much worse inside the theater with its metal roof. Now I know why you don’t yell “FIRE” in a crowded theater, these people went Ape Poo Crazy! Running into each other, cell phone blabbering and keys a’jingling!! They were knocking over their own kids for the sake of cake! Stepping over the seats, dropping their drinks, popcorn was everywhere… just to get out of there.

And to what?

Stand in the lobby and watch their cars get bumpy??

Weird.

Or worse… risk getting beaned by an ice ball to throw themselves over their car hoods???

Its a car, not your precious  computer… I mean….child! LOL!

Of course we glued our butts to the seats and sat out the movie…we are a homeschool family so we are used to bucking the crowd. I think we swim upstream as our first reaction now, just be be even more strange!! LOL!   We are those odd 4 people who clap in the theater when the credits roll and everyone turns around to see who the Stupids are! LOL!

We wave ecstatically at all gawkers!

Nathan did say something about fleeing…he was not sure if we were going to die or not. It did sound pretty scary all those ice balls hitting the tin roof gave the impression that the end was near.

So any road, the place empties out only a few straggle back in and the lights go off and on a few times. A bit spooky when a public  place goes black, but we made it. When the movie was over ( UP by Pixar/Disney..very good, BTW) we inspected our Dane Mobile and found her indeed bumpy and with a cracked windshield, but not wet inside. We were expecting much worse. Dana ( the name of our big boxy Dane Mobile) must have dodged most of the big ones! LOL!

We drove home re-counting the highs and lows of the day to find Jack’s car without a mark on it. Note: He would have been one of those nutty Mc Nutters! Spread-eagle on his car hood, had his little car been in that theater parking lot! I have no doubt. He is loopy-nuts about that sexy little car!

So the day ends on a high note!~ Whoo HOO! Jack’s car is not bumpy!

I ran inside and threw myself in bed! LOL! To end my day and be sure nothing else bad could happen!!

Happy Saturday ALL!
