Monday Freebie: Baja Man Glass Frames
Howdy all!
Jack and I celebrated our wedding anniversary this weekend. We are a bit flip-flopped on the remembering part. Usually its the man who forgets the anniversary. In our case its the woman, me. This is going to sound man-ish… I really don’t hold much stead in anniversaries. We met, we married. Done. Happily Ever After as the saying goes. No counting years in Happily Ever After.
Even though my lack of remembering smarts for Jack I can also see he is relieved too. No fancy expectations. We wish each other a happy day over coffee and that is good enough. Maybe when we get past the 25 year mark I might feel different, but so far. Everyday is joyful and happy, unless I am being a poop and not seeing the joy. * HOOT!*
I think this weekend was the perfect way to celebrate ( here comes the twisted part) we worked! LOL! We ran cable for hardwiring all our computers, installed a new modem/router combo, fixed the screen doors so they don’t clang shut and ran silicon around the new glass stovetop ( got it for Mother’s Day) Its COOL! It just needed a little finish to call it done. The garden is bursting with produce, but also needs constant watering and I have been lazy about it, so it got a deep watering. We really should put in a watering system but don’t tell Jack I am thinking that!!
He already is running back to work with relief! He really looks forward to MONDAY! * guffaw*
Don’t feel too bad, his fingers ache from all the guitar playing he squeezed in this weekend and his man-cave looks like a hurricane started and stopped in there. Good thing no ( cleaning ) girls allowed in there. Jack just let’s the mess pile up and I let him! Its a wonderful plan!
WHOO HOO!
So its back to easy work for both of us. Yea, Monday!!
That means Freebie…
We got to talking about the 70’s. Jack and I didn’t know each other then but we have similar experiences of it. His family was military too, Navy for him and AirForce for me. So we have some shared experiences. We remember the same movies from the era and have been sharing them ( via Netflix) with the boys. This got me thinking about 70’s style.
So part 4 of Baja Man this week has a 70’s flair. Its sort of goes with the period, since the 70’s is when my Dad and Mom loved to take us for vacations to the Baja Peninsula.
