My apologies for leaving you all high and dry last week. I am back and happy to have time to blog today and there will be a freebie too! Whoo HOO!
Forgive me all who have commented lately that I have not replied to. I am going to skip replies so I can keep blogging and posting freebies this week, I wish there were 2 of me. I read 10 days ago that August 1st was the 28th anniversary of MTV. Not a big deal to me now, but when I was 13 it was HUGE!! *grin* I was telling my boys I watched the first hours with a bunch of my friends and it was glorious. Then I read the first song was “Video Killed The Radio Star” by the Buggles and I blanked. I don’t remember seeing them at all! Whoot!
So we went to YouTube to see what I missed. Forgettable except for the keyboards, but while we were at YouTube we caught this version of the song but a trio out of San Diego. I am now hooked on The Wrong Trousers.
Above was a few years back, this is how this band has matured…
I would have liked to see more of the band as a whole. Other than I like the direction this band is going…seems completely their own, even in a cover of another harpist’s song.
