Ta-DA!~
Its DONE!
We were strolling in Lowe’s before seeing a movie on Sunday night and like always we ended up in the Garden area. I think its just me, but Jack likes the lawn tents and stuff too, so we end up standing under them oohing and ahhing. This time one of the big cast iron gazebos was on sale half off. Jack said, “Buy it!” I said, “No”
Well, by Monday I was thinking twice. I took him up on it. Squishing the monster box in between the seat the boys and I set off to make something shady at home. We batted around the idea of setting it up yesterday, but it was already too hot and we wanted to have a good time doing it. So we got alot of today’s work done yesterday and this morning I woke up my boys early so we could watch the sun come up and we could get started. Oh, the instructions said it would take 45 minutes to complete the install…
It took us 4 and a half hours!! LOL!
…BUT we DID have a great time!! It only cost us 3 expletives, one bolt lost in the grass, and I misplaced an Allen Wrench somewhere. So based on the low curse count and recovery of most of the tools …we think it was an awesome build.
