Howdy All!
Switching over from freebie designer to for pay designer means ALOT of schooling. I have learned so much about the difference. There is some big things to know. First I guess I would say, if your planning on making the switch organize your files. I have all my designer goodies grouped by type, but I didn’t always specify when I made a folder if it was Commercial Use OK ( can I use it to make something from it to sell?) or Commercial Use for Commercial Use. ( can I use it to make something from it to sell it to others to re-sell?)
It didn’t matter much when I was doing freebies. I had time to look over each TOU for each goodie I wanted to use to see if it was freebie friendly. But really that was a waste of time going through file after file after file. I don’t have time for that now.
So as your collecting your goodies and making folders for them to live in on your computer Drop a little CU, CU4CU, Or PU in the front of the folder name. Like this…

With just a look before you open the folder you know this is CU. This will sure save time by only having your read the TOU that you need to. I hope all this learning I am doing, (and reorganizing my files most of the weekend) is helping me make better freebies too.
