Gruntled.

I got an email this morning that included the word “Disgruntled” and it reminded me of something my dad said over dinner one night.

Bill Goodman:

If a person can be disgruntled ( grouchy, testy, sullen, grumpy, dissatisfied) it must mean at some point they were gruntled. ( the opposite of disgruntled) If that is true why do we never hear about,  Gruntled Workers?,  Gruntled Housewives?, Gruntled Teenagers?

I , Bill Goodman, from this day on  wish to be known as Gruntled! I am a gruntled husband, gruntled father and gruntled worker! In short, a Gruntle.

I love my dad! He comes up with the best stuff to say.

Gruntle Dad is having surgery next week, please keep him in your thoughts, and  prayers…my Mom too! She’ll be the one pacing a rut in the waiting room.
