Didn’t I promise you a recipe today! Ahhhh, yes! Yes I did! This is a heart attack waiting to happen, but they grew on my family so I am sharing the recipe, take a walk after eating!!
Smokie Cheese Cherries!
- 1 package of Lil’Smokies
- 1 Jar of Maraschino Cherries
- 1/3 block of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Toothpicks
Re-heat the smokies ( they are precooked) in a skillet with nothing but the juice in the package, takes about 3 minutes. While the smokies heat, drain the Cherries, and chop the cheese into little squares. I make REALLY little squares. Cheddar is a strong. I have seen BIG chunks. So do what feels good! LOL!
Assemble like so …while singing the song I wrote…
