Shannon’s Heart

Shannon at Desert Designs is a dear one and she knows so much about making REAL things with digital designs!  She is also the last person to see my goods before they go into the DSO store  so it has to pass her to get in. She always has something wonderful to add or finds something wrong maybe someone else missed ( usually me!) I feel very safe knowing she is there to keep my goofs out of the store.

This past week she used my Gel-ly Heart Styles and Mini-Stripe Lites Styles along with other designer’s good stuff to build real cards! WHOO HOO! They are so adorable! She is very talented. If you like learning how this is done, keep watching her blog because she loves to tell how she does her cards and other hybrid creations.

Here is a wee picture of what she made, folder visit Desert Designs to see what she made in a BIG way and there is download of printable card stocks with the bracket edges for you as a freebie.  I jumped on THAT and I cried a little when I opened it up… There are my goodies! Weeee!!

I don’t know diddly about making cards and but I sure want to try and seeing my stuff all ready to print just fills me with joy!

  • February Collab  Pick UR Bits: Forever and After.  Bunny had this idea to replace the clunky All Designer Collab Kits that get so expensive and HUGE with Pick Ur Bits! Like a collab, we all had a set color swatch but instead of selling it all in one big bunch for one BIG price you get to just pick the stuff you want. Isn’t that cool?? Each little bit  has a nice little price so if you only want one little smackerel of honey ( like, Pooh Bear says)  then you can just buy one little smackerel! I LOVE this idea and we has such a blast making our little bits. More on this Wednesday, when I reveal my part here on the blog, but for now I am sending you over to the main site to see all the bits.  This is the page where Pick Ur Bits: Forever and After start ( 3rd product from top.)  Then they keep going into the next page. Everybody’s bits go with everyone else’s so if you buy more than one bit you its just like you are making your own kit! SO COOL!!

Okay, I have told you a little bit of everything and promised to come back during the week and tell you more. So now I am off the visit the Galapagos Island for an afternoon in Homeschool via the internet and the wonders of the modern age!! Bring on the mini-vacation!! HOOT!
