A quick drop in to wish you all a ticklish Saint Patrick’s Day! In town today I was seeing green shiny beads and flashing 4 leaf clovers and lots of silly fun going on in the name of the good man Patrick. There was a hottie in front of the Wal-bucks giving away genuine kisses for a genuine irishman! I stood in line for my peck on the cheek…I felt more irish immediately!! WHOO HOO! I usually make cabbage and potatoes with corned beef, but much of my interest in cooking has been diverted toward designing, so sadly we are having pizza. If I was honest with myself I would admit I am the only one who will miss the corned beef and cabbage. I LOVE it, but Jack and boys are less than thrilled. One good thing, no lonely brews in the back of the fridge. I like to boil my potatoes, cabbage and corned beef in beer. I buy a 6-pack but it never fails that I only use 5. There is always a lonely one. No one here drinks beer and its just sits in the back of the fridge looking unwelcome. LOL! So at least this time around no socially awkward, wallflower beer.
Got some Easter Candy on my travels today…LOVE Cadbury mini-eggs! They are just plain wonderful with a crackling shell…mmmmm-Um!! Never miss those, and of course the Cadbury Cream egg. I ate one already and had to take a nap ( more like a carb-coma) Many folks complain the eggs are not the size they once were and as I nod my head in agreement, they indeed are smaller. I give thanks for it. Its a public safety issue. We cannot have people sugar crashing all over the place! Oh The Humanity!
I probably can’t do this, but I can’t help it. Kim B has made an Kit of Awesomeness! Its not for sale yet, but believe me if you only buy one Kim Kit this YEAR, this is the one. There should be awards for stuff like this. Like blue ribbons at country fairs for your grandma’s quilt or Oscars for films. you know? There probably are, but I don’t know about them! LOL!
